Is it possible to transfer UC schools from UC Merced to UCLA?
If it's possible can you transfer within a year if all the credits needed are completed?

What you want to do is called “intercampus transfer.” To be competitive for intercampus transfer and to minimize delays in graduation, you should complete the general education and major prerequisite requirements at your campus prior to the end of your sophomore year. The UC reciprocity agreement allows you to use the requirements from your campus to fulfill the requirements at the other UC campus.

UCLA gives the same priority to intercampus transfer applicants as CA community college transfer applicants. But the general admit rate for intercampus transfer tends to be lower compared to CCC transfers.

UCLA only accepts “lower-division transfers” (one-year transfer) to one or two majors. Your best chance is to transfer after your sophomore year.
