but it was to Business Preparation, What?! looked at their curriculum and I have those classes completed in my community college
Hey guys, I’ve been reading through most of the thread. Just wanted to say that i also have the problem with myUCR portal. I only have two tabs “Account Home” & “My Profile” (No colored tabs). There’s the “How do I do” on the top right.
I have the message once you login "We have received a record number of application… Make sure to check your “My Alerts” and your “My Announcements”… You may find something listed there that we still need from you… ".
I’m scared that b/c of this portal problem that it may affect my acceptance (maybe missing some important docs?). I called the office as well and tried to talk to them, but I was transferred to an admissions counselor and the counselor was not there (even left a message, but not call back. Wondering if anymore of you solved your problem or called them to verify anything?
Please Help! You guys are a great for helping all transfers!
@wisdom94 It’s a holiday weekend, so people will have left early. Try calling the admissions again on Monday morning if you are worried. In the meantime, write them an email asking if you have any messages that you should be aware of. Keep it simple. They have your email from your application, so they would have informed you that way. Check your inbox and spam for anything. If not there, you probably did not get any messages, but still call and email the office if you are concerned. The notice you are mentioning ("You may find something listed there that we still need from you… ") is what appears on everyone’s portals.
Has anyone who was accepted around 3/14 receive their admissions packet in the mail yet? I haven’t

Last Thursday I received a message from UCR and it asked for my unofficial transcript in order for them to make an admission decision. I sent my unofficial transcript that day, but as of right now I’m still waiting for them to give me a decision. How long does it normally take for them to give you a decision after they receive your unofficial transcript?
It will take time because it has to go through the regular process. It doesn’t mean you’ll get an email with a yay or nay after they see it. You’re still just in the regular random pool and probably nearer the end as this is additional info that is slowing the process down.
Is anyone else missing tabs on their MyUCR home page? The only tabs I have are the “Account Home” and “My Profile” Tab.
Call the admissions office and ask… My friend called and asked and they said they couldn’t disclose any information without the student ID. If it was a glitch, they probably would have just said so… You have been rejected.
To anyone who has been rejected, did you get a message on your MyUCR page? How did you find out?
@MatthewE310 I had the same situation. They asked for my transcript on March 16. On April 4,I received my admission decision. I’d say you have to wait for 3 weeks to hear anything
That’s not necessarily true that you’ve been rejected @ucorbust93.
There’s always a message. Even a glitch they won’t tell you without an ID.
So, again… I would call to find out for sure.
