@Funsizee08 I’m in a similar situation. I called the admissions office and they told me to email to transfer@ucr.edu about my situation and they will respond within 1-2 days. I emailed them yesterday and still heard no response yet. Im freakn anxious my acceptance will get recsinded:(
@Funsizee08 @deanne90504 I know you both are anxiously waiting for a response about your individual situations but I had to drop with a W, a in progress class for Spring 2015. It was however NOT a Provisional requirement,igetc or major prep. I was redirected to leave a voice mail message by the admissions office but never received a callback. The fastest way I got a response was emailing a UCR Transfer counselor personally about my situation. I found a UCR Transfer counselor’s email on the site and was able to get a response within a day. I hope this can help a little. Goodluck!
@CancelOut wow ok thanks!
@Funsizee08 hey, no the classes I dropped were not major requirements. Although they all are UC transferable courses, I had already completed IGETC, surpassed the at least 60 unit requirement, and finished my major prerequisites about a year ago. In addition, two of the classes I dropped have not started yet. I only dropped one class with a ‘W.’ I would just wait for them to reply or call about your situation as every case is different. I had contacted my counselor about the reason as to why I had to drop the classes. Hope everything works out for you!
@Funsizee08 forgot to add that the dropped classes were not specifically mentioned in my provisions as classes that needed to be passed. I just emailed my admissions counselor about it as in January, they had requested my unofficial transcripts.
Congrats @NewSocio
So far I’ve only heard from UCR and UCSD
Still pending on UCSB and UCI
I hope you hear back from them soon! To put you out of misery once and for all
@Hiitsnaomi Thank you. I hope you hear back from UCSB and UCI soon as well!
Ok so now that I was accepted to UCR as a Business Preparation major, I am now trying to apply for student housing. The problem is that it asks for my UCR Net ID when I try to apply for student housing and I don’t know how to find my UCR Net ID. Does anyone know where I need to look to find my UCR Net ID?
@Matthew310 Go to GROWL. It should be at the username section
@NewSocio I checked GROWL for my UCR Net ID on the username section but it was not there. Is it because I have to first submit my SIR before I receive my UCR Net ID?
@Matthew310 Contact UCR on Monday for help.
Accepted

Waiting for USC and UCLA
Just wanted to know for those who didn’t get accepted yet, if you’re still having trouble with the UCR website where it only shows 2 tabs?
@Wisdom94 ya
It shows 8 tabs for me: Account home, My alerts, my announcements, my test scores, my documents, my profile, my ucr ids, How do I?
are you still waiting to hear back? @Xenomorph
Ya, I haven’t heard back yet and mine is the same as @Xenomorph.
@UCorBust93 Yeah I haven’t been accepted it. I’ve always seen them since I registered.
@Xenomorph ya, as soon as decisions started rolling out in march it switched to 2 tabs and has been like that ever since. I talk to someone on here who had the same thing and was still accepted, so don’t loose hope! I’m still waiting to hear back
@Wisdom94 I only have 2 tabs as well and still waiting to hear back :-q
