It feels as though a majority already got their decisions I think im going to get either rejected or waitlisted lol

@taffylaffy I doubt that all of them will SIR to UCR. Hopefully not many do so that way we can get in haha.
@starkali my major is biochemistory and gpa is 3.8 ! I am a sophmore transfer from ucsc so it is harder for me to transfer from a uc to a uc
@taffylaffy Why is it harder? Also why do you want to transfer?
@imagnetismi I honestly dont like it here. School spend too much money on making the campus look “prettier” and it feels as if there aren’t that much great opportunities for me at ucsc. Also classes are hard to get. They only offered one course for one quarter whereas in other ucs, they offer like 6 classes… I have countless of other reason but that is the just of it lol
It is harder I think because they give priority to junior transfers and students from community colleges. Im a sophmore transfer AND im from a UC so it makes it even harder

has anyone spoken to admissions lately about when we will hear back? When i called a couple of weeks ago they said through the end of this month, but when i looked at last year’s thread they were still giving notifications till May 10th. Im so tired of waiting :((
@cub2usc I called 2 days ago and they said at the end of the month too when did you submit app in nov?
@HuskiesSmiles oh okay. I turned mine in the last week, but my cousin turned hers in within the first few days and still hasn’t heard anything either.

Ok so I am Electrical Engineering major with a 3.6 GPA. I was denied by most universities and UCR has not
given me a decision yet. However I spoke with UCR engineering rep and told me the reason I was denied by most universities except UCR is because I am missing IGTC. Also, I might get denied for UCR too! So I am aware that I will stay another year at college. Also…UCR rep told me that if you have low GPA, missing prereqs or missing IGTC like me that is why they have you waiting until the end. I hope this helps! Love you guys and wish you the best!
