go to Growl, and select financial aid status, or something like that. Select the 2013-2014 years.

yay! hopefully I get a good FA package.
parents make 100k (for a family of 6, it’s not much at all!) but there’s absolutely no money for me to go to a UC. ill be dependent on loans most likely…hopefully its worth it. :S

I got admitted today too.

it’s really bad when I have a brother and sister that are also in universities. so yeah…don’t just assume when you don’t know.

@ryanbentley

I think they’re just pointing out the fact that there are many families out there that make substantially less with just as many, if not more, people and in all probability none of them are going to a University.

But… regardless, this is off-topic.

Did anyone got accepted for grants?

Sagely Advice: To the people who are anxious and losing sleep about getting into a good school, please, DON’T WORRY. I took 2 years and the time has finally come, EMBRACE IT. You worked for this. We all did. Sure, I could’ve done things differently and gotten a 4.0, become president of some clubs, etc… but… I didn’t. I’m here now and things are OK. Just work hard and enjoy your friends and family. A rejection is not the end of the world, and for many successful people today… it was only the beginning.

Its March 21, 2013 and I am still waiting on my UCR answer! Should I be worried? And I also have a 3.17 weighted GPA and the major I want to do is Film and Media studies.

The UCs have until the end of April to let people know, that’s over a month from now. There is still plenty of time to get accepted somewhere, don’t worry. The wait absolutely SUCKS but there’s not much else to do other than sit tight and hope for the best. But just because you haven’t been admitted yet doesn’t mean you’re going to get rejected.
