Can y’all please post what time you checked your portal to get your decision? I’m trying to figure out when the batches are rolling out

@mdorbust I got an email today, 3PM EST telling me to check my portal. However, I heard they released decisions yesterday at 3PM EST, but sent an email a day later!

Has anyone heard back who applied for their Human Biology major? And if so what are your stats? I have not heard back yet and I am nervous that that will mean I will not be accepted

Did anyone get Rgents or admissions only from UCSD?

Just curious, has anyone got in for Bioengineering? I’ve seen a lot of people who like me put Bioengineering as their 1st choice but ended up with their 2nd! Which is still cool, but leaving me wondering.

congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone.

I got an email that i have been admitted but the major is undeclared, where as i applied in biomedical engineering… How do i choose the major now? Or what would i be studying in the freshman year if i go here?

I got the same thing, no idea either. Guys, any help?

@heavyscene123 and @NicolasCageAf: it means you have been accepted into the university but not into your major. It means you will have to try and change your major later on which is extremely difficult if you plan to switch to engineering.

The engineering majors are impacted, meaning you can be admitted to UCSD but not your desired major. You can either continue as a non-engineer or try to transfer in at the start of your second year. To do transfer in, you’d have to take 9 courses: MATH 20A-C, CHEM 6A-B, PHYS 2A-B, MAE 8, and BILD 1. Admission is based solely on applicants’ GPA in these courses.
