Hi mimariego. There is a bit of variation on how she applied at each school but for UCSB, she applied Art - Letters & Science, not Creative Studies.

I want to reach out and say i hope your son makes UCB. My applicant was waitlisted at both UCSD and UCI but made LA. which makes me think each school is unique. We had literally no hopes. Applicant is similar high stats but applied mathematics not engr. I didnt believe it when people said keep the faith, but now i can tell - keep the faith. There is a place waiting for your student too. Best wishes and good luck
