<p>I've heard UC San Diego has a very good econ department. From what I hear UCI and UCSB are the same in business econ. The difference between the three schools in those areas isn't very big so choose the school you're most comfortable at.</p>
<p>UCSD has a top notch econ program. UCI and UCSB also have great econ programs, but don't even touch UCSD.</p>
