@stressnsad I felt the same way. I was 90+% sure i’d get in, but I looked at UCSC’s website to explain on a page for rejected applicants for fall 2018, and it says the average GPA was like 3.97 and avg sat and act were like 1350 and 29. 
I got waitlisted too here.
