I just recently got pretty bad SAT subject test scores. I know that University of California require SAT or ACT scores and does not require SAT subject test scores. If I choose to report ACT scores to them, do I still need to report SAT subject test scores to them?
On their website, they say that "submission of SAT Subject Test scores may add positively to the review of a student's application". But would the scores still "add positively" if they are bad???

Thanks!

If it isn’t required, it isn’t required. Personally I wouldn’t send them if they’re “bad,” but I’m not quite sure what your definition of that is!

SAT subject tests aren’t required by the UC system. However if submitted they can be considered and MAY reflect positively on the applicant should the scores be considered “good”. If you don’t think your scores are “good” don’t sen them.

But on their website, they said: "All applicants should report scores for any SAT Subject Tests, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, TOEFL or IELTS exams they have taken. " This threw me off a bit
