<p>If I apply to a UC university, how do they verify your transcripts? Is there a system they run your transcript in, and make sure your transcript is valided? I'm asking because some one said I have to get my transcripts certified, so now I'm confussed. </p>

<p>If you are applying to a UC university, they verify your transcripts after you have been accepted to a UC campus and after you have sent your transcript to office of admissions. From there, they will verify if your information that you put on the application with the transcripts you have sent them. The transcripts MUST be official and the reason you have to get it certified is just for IGETC certification which you do after you are sure that you have satisfied the IGETC list.</p>
