My boyfriend just got rejected from UC Davis!!! I can't believe this. Pending people.. check!

i also got rejected

yeah me too. this is crap. psych major, 3.6, volunteering, get into every other UC i applied to. davis is the only place i actually wanted to go. i think i may appeal . . .

browneyedgirl4
so what are you gonna do if the appeal is not accepted again?

go to UCSB i guess.

ely_113 and browneyedgirl14: what were your gpas? major? did you have everything completed?

i had a 3.6 and ALL of my pre-reqs were done. i'm a psych major.

I got rejected

i also had all the pre-reqs (mentioned on assist.org) i did all of them for UCD! also IGETC certified...
psych major...
3.1 :(

im getting scared now...
if this is UCs trend..
it seems like they admit everyone first
and give out all rejections later.
im scared..

maybe!
that;s exactly what happened with UCD

So i guess everyone that is pending into SD or Irvine are going to get rejected.

I think they are waiting for freshmens to turn in their SIRS on May 2nd. Then they will reevaluate spaces available and release decisions.

I didn't even hear from UCSC (where my counselor told me with a 3.7 I'd be a shoe-in) until last Friday and was accepted. And the admissions office at UCSB told me that if you haven't been notified, they honestly haven't made a decision yet.

Don't give up hope, guys!

Wasn't it somewhere on this board that people had heard SD's admissions office say they were releasing approx. 50% of the decisions last weekend/early this week and 50% on the 29th?

If it were as easy as admitting all of those students Monday and rejecting the rest of us, they'd have sent the notices out. Why wait to send a rejection notice if you know you are sending one? People need to know if they are in or not so they can plan for next fall. They surely aren't that sadistic.

I really don't think we've been evaluated yet, or (as Mike168 said) they are waiting to see how many spaces are left to offer.

Sorry to be spamming the board guys, but one more thing -- If you look back in the archives from last year, UCSB was so behind that they updated their site at the end of April for people still pending with a message that said "your application has not yet been evaluated" or something to that effect.

Some of those people still got accepted, so it's too early for us to give up hope!

i got rejected from UCD, i m gonna to appeal, funny how i wrote my appeal letter a week b4 my notification

can't believe this bullsh.it i have all A's in my core classes but only overall of 3.4, missin 2 programin classes, i seriously feel they are stupid for rejecting me

Ya people lets hope for the best...sorry for the people who got rejected.

still pending on UCSD and UCI !!!
