Good luck on your chem test!

Anyway, now I just receive the letter saying that I won't receive a decision until late April.

We have received your application for Fall Quarter 2005. However, admission decisions have not yet been made for our transfer applicants. We plan to begin notifying transfer applicants of our decisions starting in late April. Please check with us again around that time.

"yet, someone on my thread "UCLA Decision Countdown" said that a "friend" has already been admitted......and is a transfer."

omg, really?

exactly 15 hours left....and hell yea, i'm gonna stay up tonight.

Frankly....it'd be better to just wait for April 29th and/or the acceptance letter than stay up all night til 8am.....lol.

Where did you get 15 from? that's....midnight and the site isn't even open.

my bad...i thought they start shooting decisions at midnight.

My aunt is a college advisor and she contacted UCLA to find out what the deal is. Here is the reply from UCLA:

We plan to start releasing transfer application decisions on our decision web site late in the day on Wednesday, April 27th. Not all applications have had a final review, so we will open the web site on Wednesday with a portion of our decisions and continue to add more decisions each day on a rolling basis. All students should have a decision by mid May. Late Wednesday, your student can check our site at https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.htm to see if a decision has been released. If not, then he/she should continue to check the site each day until the decision is released.

Sincerely,
Amy Schlueck
UCLA

--- It looks like we might have to wait it out for awhile. My aunt also told me that UCLA is notorious for making decisions well in to May, even though they are supposed to have them done by May 1st. I hope this info helps.

Thanks Gat,

Pretty much what most of us expected. It's what happened last year as well. Sadly, transfer students, who often need more time than freshman to prepare to make the move are given less time to do so..typical. :P

Mid May!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?

So, most of us are 'supposed' to get a decision by the end of tomorrow?

Late in the day???? haha just kidding..yea mid may is horrible. my only comfort is i can depend on Cal to accept or reject me this friday.

This ***** is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

I didn't know Gwen Stefani applied for transfer..;)

anyone still waiting on UCSD? I have seena few old posts here and there, but sounds like A LOT have already heard...Mid march through the 30th of April... they are pushing the envelope a bit. Somebody throw me a bone!

Suffering along with the rest,

Did anyone who was accepted to UC Davis go to Decision UC Davis on Saturday? I went to the one in LA at the Wilshire Hotel and I was impressed.

Julie, I'm still waiting on UCSD. I think we should hear by Friday. I know a bunch of people at school who haven't heard from SD either.

I'm still waiting for UCSD...
