UC Transfer Applicants - Come Join

UCSB's accounting program is very good, my brother got a job as an accountant for Deloitte in L.A. shortly after he graduated because he was offerred the job through an intership he did after his junior year. The Accounting Association club at UCSB is very well organized and can set you up with a great job very easily out of college. You get to meet all of the big firms through AA too, so if you're into accounting I definitely recommend UCSB.

Finally got admitted into UCSD...took them forever !

and i'm still waiting for ucla!!!!! "please continue to check back" omg.

me too. UCLA, why must you torture me???

Hey to all,

just got accepted to UCLA today. Rejected by UCB, but I'm appealing and hopefully I'll get in

ucb_2: good luck on your appeal! i really hope you get into ucb, definitely talk to a counselor and ask what you should write about... it helps! but don't forget.. ucla is a great school!! goodluck, again

wow, we all have been really busy.. no posts in three days!

Congrats HallwayAngel!! Wow, people are still waiting for UCLA?! That evil...EVIL!!! Good luck, you guys...

Congratulations UCB_2!!

rejected by UCLA today.

Blackdream, didn't you have a 4.0 GPA applying to UCLA? very odd...I'm sorry to hear that.

Blackdream sorry to hear that. What were your stats.

yeah i have a 4.0, but hey, i got into UCB, UCSD, and every privates i've applied so far. so it's not a big deal.

i actually didn't even remember to check the UCLA website today, and i didn't check it yesterday either, if memory serves me right. just goes to prove how much i don't care anymore.

have you decided where you're gonna go, blackdream?

lol....you've got to be kidding me...

UCB if Stanford doesn't take me, or Stanford. Hehe, I was THE one stanford person at the may 14 orientation.

bruinmichelle, if the lol was for me... yeah, i'm pretty much resigned to the fact that UCLA doesn't want me :( my major there is impacted, so my 3.54 doesn't stand much of a chance; i also haven't completed the physics sequence, which is required. it would be nice to be accepted though, but i'm happy i got into Cal, which was my first choice anyway. :)

blackdream, you were at the welcome reception? i was there too.

if you saw a guy with ludcriously large head, about 6 feet tall, wearing glasses, chinese, and wearing a gray BERKELEY shirt, that was me.
