UCB or UCLA?? Im so stuck.

<p>So Im debating over which school to go (im out of state). Im planning on majoring in Business but im not exactly set on it yet because I dont know if its right for me yet. I know UCB has an amazing business program but youre not in it freshman year and ur not guaranteed to get in it your sohpomore year. Im majoring in Business Economics at UCLA.</p>

<p>The thing is, Im decently smart but Im not super smart or anything. Im laid back and Im not really a fan of huge competition (which i heard UCB was all about). I kinda feel intimidated by Berkeley. But I feel so bad to turn Berkeley down because its just a good school. I care about academics but i really care about social life too. Some people told me LA is hotter and Berkeley is rainier but I honestly dont really care much for whether, because either way, its not gonna be that bad. </p>

<p>What are the pros and cons? Which school is better?</p>

<p>The concepts that Berkeley is more competitive or significantly more competitive are myths that people perpetuate that have not been proven.</p>

<p>Also, as the prior post mentions, competition is everywhere are you should not fear it.</p>

<p>I had a history teacher in middle school that had gone to UCLA. He was dyslexic. Coincidence?</p>
