UCBerkeley Energy Engineering or UCSD for Chemical Engineering?

Trying to decide between these two BS degrees and schools:

UCB - Energy focused multi-disciplinary program with a good mix of EE, MechE, Civil, some CS, and original research senior capstone. Better financial aid package. Non-abet accredited

UCSD - Soild Chemical Engineering with abet accreditation.

I care about being able to find a job post graduation, I am considering research, but I don’t want to get stuck in either research or industry. Which of these degrees would better prepare me to be proficient at both? I enjoy chem very much, but my interests evolve every year it seems. Thoughts?
