Alright, err…I’m in a bit of a predicament here.

But before you read any further, I need this question to be answered first:

Has UC Davis sent ALL application decisions to ALL prospective freshman students that applied there for 2013?

I’m asking this because I’m seeing that people have already received acceptance/rejection notifications from UC Davis and I’m wondering whether they’re still making decisions or not (I’m an UCD applicant btw).

But here’s where it gets complicated. On March 12, I received an email from UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions do-not-reply-adm@ad3.ucdavis.edu saying that I was accepted and it even had my UC student ID number code & major in it.

The odd thing about this is that this was sent to an email account of mine that had no prior relations to my UC applications/registrations (well, at least I don’t remember changing it). I have multiple email accounts and the one I use for my work/college-related business has not received a reply from UCD yet.

The next lame part of this situation is that I don’t even remember what my login ID & password is OR if I even registered for an account on the UCD admissions site at all (you guys know how busy senior year can be). When I tried to setup an account using my name, student ID number code & DOB, it says that I “may not create a new login account because [ I ] already have one.” Since I can’t even login to check on the REAL status of my UCD decision, I’m stuck scratching my head in confusion and debating whether the email is valid or not.

I know I’m going to have to resort to calling the Admissions Office but I’d like some help as to whether or not this is a scam or not.

Thanks for reading and for any help in advance.
