UCF VS FSU Schools of Hospitality and campus life

I am a hospitality major and I am deciding between UCF and FSU; which has the better school of hospitality? I want to know which one has a better academic program? I know that FSU has more of the traditional college feel. Which leads me to another question.... what is the true college atmosphere at UCF especially on the weekends? Does UCF do any tailgating for football weekends or it is not that important to the students at school? I will be at school during all weekends... football, no football, will I be bored?

I’m currently a student at UCF, and from what I have heard the hospitality program at UCF is one of the best. Rosen has it’s own campus closer to the action of downtown Orlando. Also, the fact that it is in Orlando to begin with helps give it an edge when it comes to hospitality… because, let’s face it, Orlando has a lot more tourism, etc than Tallahassee.

In my time at UCF so far, I’ve always had things to do on the weekends. Campus DOES die down a bit when nothing is going on, but there is never nothing to do.

Tailgating is a lot of fun here at UCF as well. Even though our football team isn’t quite as… renowned as FSU’s, we still all go out to tailgate and have a good time!

A good way to always have something to do as well is to look into Greek life on campus. It was probably the best decision I’ve made so far in my college career.

Florida State has [a nationally ranked Hospitality Program](<a href=“Rankings | Florida State University”>Rankings | Florida State University) within the [College of Business.](http://www.cob.fsu.edu/)

What sorority did you join and what year are you on campus? I know what traditional campus life is like, how does UCF compare?

Ok, I know this has been debated many times before on CC, yet i believe there others like me who are really confused and wanna get more insight on this particular scenario.

Hey College Confidential, I am Currently a Broward College Student graduating this Summer.

I Got accepted into UCF for Social Science and according to FSU’s admission’s office… “O sorry, but you must complete your last math class before we admit you”… Which will be in mid May.

Should I go to UCF, with funding, and possible Honors admission or Have patients and become a student for the decorative FSU Seminoles???

Which social science?
