Congratulations to Moneythink (moneythink.org), a University of Chicago student organization recently selected as one of 15 finalists (of over 1400 applicants) in the White House Champions of Change Campus Challenge. Co-founded by UChicago students Greg Nance (AB '11, Truman Scholar, Gates Cambridge Scholar) and Ted Gonder (AB '12), Moneythink aims to help teach low-income and urban students financial literacy-- how to manage money, build a bank account, and how to develop entrepreneurship skills. After three years of hard work and success in Chicago, the group has evolved into a national student movement for financial literacy and youth empowerment in urban communities across America.

The 15 finalists are competing in a social media competition that ends a week from today. Voters will help select the top 5 winners, who will be recognized at the White House and will be featured on MTV.
