UChicago supplemetn

Hey guys,

I have written all the essays for the schools I am applying early too and I, now, have to do the last one, for UChicago. Here it is:

"In the interest of adventurous inquiry, pose a question of your own. If your prompt is original and thoughtful, then you should have little trouble writing a great essay. Draw on your best qualities as a writer, thinker, visionary, social critic, sage, citizen of the world, or future citizen of the University of Chicago; take a little risk and have fun."

Frankly, though, I don't know where to start or what to write about. I'm at a complete writers block. Can any of you give me some ideas or tell me what you would write about if you got this prompt so I can get in the right frame of thinking and stumble upon some amazing question that even Plato wouldn't be able to think of?

I just finished my UChicago essay a few days ago. It had to simmer in the back of my brain for about two weeks before I wrote it, though it came pretty well in my opinion. I did the dissolving and solvent option, though my choice was anything but typical. If I were you (and I basically was a few weeks ago when I answered them) I would go with one of their prompts rather than your own, unless you have a fantastic idea.

Good Luck fellow UChicago hopeful :)!!!
