I was accepted into both schools and I'm not sure about which one to pick. I want to pursue a career in business, maybe work for a quantitative hedge fund. With UChicago, I would probably major in math and also take comp sci and econ classes. With Cornell, I would go to the Engineering school and study Operations Research. They are both completely different paths and I am not sure about which one is better for my current career choice.

Cornell:
Pros- well known engineering school, lots of people end up on Wall Street, big school
Cons- isolated

UChicago:
Pros- in city, well regarded math and economics departments
Cons- not as specialized for my career choice, far away from NY

Does anyone have any reasons why I should pick one school over the other?
