uchicago vs upenn vs columbia

<p>Wow, idad, these college president speeches actually do a great job delineating some of the differences between these three universities. Chicago keeps a fiercely intellectual bent alive, Penn seems practical and applied (as Ben Franklin would have wanted), and Columbia actually does seem quite pompous.</p>

<p>Chicago and Columbia both have cores. Penn does not.
Philadelphia is warmer than Chicago.
All three cities have great orchestras..
In terms of social scene, i think it's Penn > Columbia > UChicago.</p>
