@walleats I hope so! The suspense is killing me!

@walleats Omg thanks for the info! Waiting is killer D:

From what I’ve read so far it seems like they are giving out mostly TAG acceptance letters with a couple none TAG people sprinkled in. I guess I’m going to have to wait until mid-April.

i cant wait until i get the acceptance letter in the mail!!!

im swaggin out.

If I get a D in one of the IGETC requirements in the science category does it count toward the transferable GPA?

@hektor

yes. every grade you get does unless its a withdrawal.

getting a D will basically revoke your acceptance to any school. Make sure to NEVER get a D. getting a W is sooooo much better

Got accepted yesterday to UCI for International Studies

still waiting for SB, LA, SD, and SC

What if you fail a course that doesn’t transfer but you explained why (huge family health scares) I still have a 3.7 gpa… I’m a little nervous…1st year at ucsb with a 2.94gpa with 25 semester units then took 43 units at a ccc and got a 3.94 gpa… So total is 3.71 gpa and I’m a film and media major … What do you think for UCI? (I got into UCR)

If the course isn’t UC-transferrable, no UC campus can officially consider it, for better or worse.

Not true on getting a D revokes you… I actually had 2 F’s… F’s are replaceable and I think D’s are too… and the UC system will honor it. My 2 F’s occurred during freshman year where I forgot to drop the class and didn’t really care whehter I failed or not… and then I got an A when i decided to give a ****.

Its grad schools where it matters.

Revokes you? What do you mean? Also if I have around 25 semester units at ucsb with a 2.94 gpa ( due to the 1 f) and a 3.94 gpa with 43 units at a ccc do they average my score to 3.71 or would they look at my ccc experience with greater weight then my uc classes?

Thanks!

Kennek and Julia he means if you get accepted for Fall and fail a class this Spring they could very well revoke your acceptance since you didnt meet the conditional requirements.

can we expect to hear back early April? Or all through April?

What were you guys’ transfer conditions? I wasn’t sure if most people just got the same transfer conditions. I just have to keep a C average for spring and an overall of 3.5

I meant 3.0

Mine is I have to finish my chem class with a B and I’m scared because I might get a C in it. This sucks

hey i was wondering if a person keeps getting emails for the regent scholarship, does that mean he is kinda already accepted?

Okay, so April begins tomorrow. Can we PLEASE hear some news, even if it’s bad?! I need to know whether or not I’m accepted so I can plan my next move; right now I feel like I’m in limbo.

@0flyguy0

explain my brotha…
