<p>Oh ok cool thanks for the reply isus39. I was wondering cause i too have a TAG to Irvine but havent heard anything back yet either…guess i gotta continue to play the waiting game. Also not sure if this is hearsay or not but someone told me that they can sometimes change your major (if you were tagged) since the TAG only guarantees you a spot at the school and not the chosen major. Can anyone let me know if this is true, thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Thanks. I’m pretty nervous about the whole 4 year university transfer thing. I had no idea it was such a huge deal till I found this site. Haha. I’m hoping I’m just psyching myself out.</p>

<p>It’s possible, just hard. A friend of mine managed to transfer from a local private university to UCSD after one year (i.e., 30 units).</p>

<p>I’ve actually heard UCI has raised the bar from last year, and making it more difficult for TAG transfers, trickling down to reg. JC transfers. I don’t know… just what I heard.</p>
