<p>why are you asking me, wahaha? I’m asking people if UCI was like this last year or the year before. 
This is my first time applying to UCI, so how am I supposed to know what UCI admissions was like the year before?</p>
<p>Does anyone know if the UC’s are able to check to see if we have been offered admission to other UC’s ?</p>
<p>anybody know if CC -> UCI transfer got accepted last year on the last day?</p>

People said, last year they extended the deadline to May 5th and people were still being accepted/rejected up to that day.
I don’t know about the year before that.</p>
<p>Someone posted earlier that they called a few days ago and they were told all decision will be out by the deadline (today).</p>
<p>I thought we would all be accepted, since going by the trend of last years thread, there was a huge batch of rejections followed by mostly acceptances, but now that I see how many are still pending I just don’t know anymore…</p>

<p>My guess: they are all at the beach today enjoying the weather…I kind of doubt they are slaving away on a Saturday when they could just extend the deadline like they did last year. </p>
<p>I just got back from the beach, it was beautiful…any of you guys in SoCal should just forget about UCI and go enjoy the weather.</p>

<p>I heard they look at your personal statement, along with your extra curricular activities when they evaluate you for admission. Maybe that is why they are taking so long.</p>
<p>so how will we find out if they extend the deadline? will they email us, or we check the website?</p>
