So I’ve recently been accepted to both Cal Poly SLO and UCI as a CS major (but UCI changed my major to undeclared?). I don’t know if this is the best place to ask this question, but which university has a better program for comp sci and computer/electrical engineering majors? I have heard many good things about Cal Poly SLO, but I haven’t heard much about UCI. All I know is that UCI has the Henry Samueli School of Engineering, which UCLA has also. Please help!
Did you post on SLO thread as well? It would be good to hear from CS students there. Sounds like SLO might be a good choice since UCI didn’t give you the major you wanted.
Go with the direct admit at SLO.
