<p>Which school would be better for the medical field? and which is better for business?</p>
<p>UCI is probably better if you are looking to get into medicine, or the medical field in general. There are a lot of research opportunities, and their bio program is basically tailor-made for med. school admissions. A lot of cutting edge, medical related research goes on at UCI. I don’t know if that’s also true at UCSB. As for business, I don’t really know but if you are interested in accounting, UCSB has a major for that and UCI does not.</p>
<p>Both are pretty good. For med school, the choice between UCI and UCSB really comes down to splitting hairs. </p>
<p>For business, UCI wins simply because it has an undergraduate business administration program.</p>
