Hi! I was wondering, will your whole application be rescinded if your GPA falls under the required 3.4 cumulative GPA after the admission notification is set? What I mean is, if my GPA is under 3.4 by the end of Winter Quarter but work harder in Spring to bring it up back above 3.4, will they rescind your admittance if you TAGged or will they consider you under regular admission at that point? Organic Chemistry was extremely difficult and I think I can pass with a C but after the TAU, my UC GPA fell to 3.41 (regular GPA: 3.47) and getting possibly 2 Cs this quarter (Math and Ochem), I think my UC GPA will fall beneath the 3.4 TAG GPA requirement after the Winter Quarter. However, I think I can bring it up Spring Quarter. Since, the UCs don’t see if your GPA is within requirement until you are accepted at this point, if I was accepted but my GPA is below 3.4 when transcripts are set, will they rescind the admission?
They will roll you to regular admission. If accepted your provisional will have the GPA rules you need to follow for winter/spring which will be a cumulative GPA. If you don’t adhere to the provisional, it is up to the UC as to what it will do.
@Ohm888 thank you so much!
