I was wondering if I had any chances of transferring to UCLA from UCI as a psych major? I want to minor in interior design maybe and I heard that UCLA has an extension that offers courses in that field so would it be possible for me to transfer?! I’ve heard that UC-UC transfers are the most difficult?
Well, I’ve heard that UCLA is the most UC-UC friendly, so yeah, you definitely have a shot. Psych is one of the more impacted majors though, so just make sure that you’ve taken every pre-req possible the time you apply (probably would be best to have them done by Fall 2015 if you plan to apply next year). I’ve seen some students get into psych with a 3.6ish, but that was from CC. You’d probably want to have at least that or a bit higher if you want to try for psych
