We still have almost 2 weeks left of this month. If you haven’t heard yet then you will get your decision with the 2 weeks. Seriously? Telling someone that if they don’t hear by tomorrow that it’s a rejection? SMH

any business admin majors here? Pending, accepted, or rejected?

Are people getting accepted by the minute? Or was it all released 3 hours ago…and people are just coming on now to check their status? Just curious if your status can actually change within the minute.

Well, hope you got into your safety school, folks. Still, you never know :)

@Zeyad408 I just got home and checked so I’m assuming it came out 3 hours ago.

Oh okay, thanks for the update. Im assuming they’ll let out another batch tomorrow then, we’ll see. Good Luck everyone.

@Hopefulkid323 unfortunately i did not apply for financial aid last year :

@Overtoad, the thing is, my safety schools are looking kind of fuzzy now.

EDIT: No, Hazy

Hey CS majors, what are your EC’s like? (accepted or not). Just want to know where I stand because I have none.

Decision: pending
computer science
3.64 gpa
Tag: yes
Igetc: no

Accepted

GPA: 4.0
Major: Psychology
School: School of Social Sciences
TAG: No
IGETC: Completed
Assist: Complete except Calculus recommendation

1 Year Transfer! Only had 3 Units when I left High School this year, woo!

@reeginee CS major, GPA 3.65 … pending …

Accepted!

Major: Quantitative Econ.
GPA: 3.6
TAG: No
IGETC: Completed

Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back!

@reeginee, I mean I didn’t really have much either. I only mentioned that I made like a website during my senior year of high school. The only non high school EC I had was not related to my major; it was just volunteering as a tutor helping elementary school kids who have trouble reading improve their skills. I mentioned some other things from high school not related to CS (since it said after 9th grade).

@bhav007, Really ? which other schools did u apply to ?

My safety is CSUN which i got accepted to like 3 months ago. Not exactly Harvard, but hey, gotta start somewhere lol

@reeginee

I got accepted with a 3.38GPA, no IGETC, no TAG. I have literally zero EC’s, I put down nothing in that part in my UC app.

@Overtoad, I only applied to UC’s (UCI, UCD, UCSC, UCSC, UCB)

I’m missing 2 “foundation” courses for UCSC, 1 prereq for Davis, 1 prereq for UCI (but, I completed the “required” UCI prereqs), and I will have completed UCSD prereqs (by the end of this sem, except the ones that don’t articulate). For UCB, I will be missing 1 prereq (while others don’t articulate)

EDIT: LOL, “Not exactly Harvard”; that was the funniest thing I saw all day on the forums. But, I agree, many colleges are still “good” colleges. A lot of us just want the absolute best thing possible for us and seem to be picky of where we want to go.

@bhav007 still better than nothing.

@gawdzillah wow congrats! that gives me a little hope because i didn’t put anything as well.

have you guys completed all pre-reqs? and how far along are you guys in math requirement?

@gawdzillah, that’s so cool; when did you find out?

I am done with the math requirements for the schools I applied to (I’m just missing differential equations for Berkeley).

For UCSC, I’m missing Discrete Math & some C++ class. I’m also missing discrete math for Davis and Irvine as well. I’ll be done with UCSD prereqs by the end of this sem (except the no articulated ones, and I’m finishing up 2nd semester chem this sem).

Decision: Accepted
GPA: 3.79-3.8
Major: Criminology, law, and society
Prereqs completed: 2.5/5 (2 courses at my CC count for 1 UCI prereq, but I only completed 1 of them so far).
TAG: No
IGETC: Completed on Jan. 28

@reeginee

I finished calc 1-3 and linear algebra. I also finished 3 programming courses + discrete math. However, on assist.org, the only courses that articulate are my calc classes and linear algebra, so I don’t know if that would count as completing all pre-reqs or none lol.

I’m sure you’ll get in, I don’t think EC’s carry much weight unless you’re applying to Cal or UCLA.

@bhav007

I checked at like 6 pm and I was accepted.
