UCLA, Bryn Mawr or BU?(Biochem)

So…only 4 more days and I’m still undecided…

I’m planning to study Biochem and possibly go into Pharmacy School.

I was accepted to Kilachand Honors College in BU.

I know that UCLA has the highest ranking, but I think smaller classes in BU’s honors college is something I would also like.

Bryn Mawr has small classes but lacks a well-rounded campus feeling. (Lack of events, and I didn’t really like Philly…)

Where should I go?

It sounds like you like BU the best.

I must ask though, do you really think Bryn Mawr lacks a campus feeling more than BU, which barely even has a campus?

A Bryn Mawr graduate of 7 years ago told me that the school wouldn’t be the best fit for our daughter if she is interested in being a science major with the hope of attending medical school. This BM graduate also didn’t like how their science building was made up of two separate buildings that don’t interconnect very gracefully.

@MinnesotaDadof3 I have thought about that. I am possibly going to be on pre-health track (pre-pharmacy) so maybe BMC is for pure academia students rather than students who are planning to go into industry.

I wonder what her basis or rationale was for that advice. Maybe she thinks that at some other school it would be easier to achieve a high enough GPA for med school admissions? If anything, I would think BMC has a better track record than BU or UCLA as a med school “feeder” (although good numbers are hard to find and interpret).

What about costs?
