UCLA CC Meetup Spring Quarter?

Hi everyone! So it seems UCLA CC has a meetup every year but to my knowledge we did not have one yet this year. I'd love to get a chance to meet a whole bunch of people from this site in person and it would be a fun putting faces to usernames. (I've only met one CC in person) So I would like to propose another meetup during Spring quarter, possibly on the weekend of second week.

Let's use this thread to get things organized before everyone gets busy with clubs/midterms/activities. Looking at previous threads, someone mentioned that the turnout is better if its at a dining hall and people swipe each other in, but I guess that depends on who's going as I understand there are a lot of people in the apartments (myself included).

I figured the weekend of second week should give enough time to plan/see if there is interest
so for now, I'll propose lunch on Sunday, April 15th and we'll go from there.

I’m in. 19P, so can swipe in others.

What year are you? What is your major?
I’ll try and get my son to go.

I’m 4th year, applied math/physics.

Hey dinoian,
I actually was inspired by your old thread :)

4th year, psychobiology major

bump

Hahaha, we’ll see how this goes. Any general plans?

3rd Year Psych; Don’t go on CC that much any more though, so maybe PM me if something is in the works?

so far the plan is a dining hall on April 15th but we might do westwood if its a small group.
I’ll definitely PM you when its more finalized!

So many views but no one interested?

I think I somewhat know dinoian (Ian D.?) in real life.

I’m down. Neuroscience major, Philosophy Minor.
We should try to see if we can get an apartment party going. I may be able to help with the snacks and refreshments.

The only person I met in real life is notaznguy and that was coincidental haha :)

So far we have lunch on Sunday maybe in a dining hall or an apartment.
Anyone have any preferences?
