<p>UCs do look at trends and your trends appear to be good. </p>

<p>Having Bio as a major wont help or hurt you.</p>

<p>That being said, UCLA is a match if you can write some good essays.</p>

<p>Make sure you can access external sources of financial aid… or else a match can turn into a reach.</p>

<p>The positive trend really helps you. If you write a killer essay and have some good recs you should get in. That being said, I think you’re a high match.</p>

<p>You have a good shot, I’ve personally spoken with admissions counselors that say that an upward trend is almost as good as straight A’s all the way through, since they figure your trend will continue in college. Also, everyone loves Eagle Scouts. I’d say match/highish match</p>

<p>I say this mainly because of your SAT score. It’s slightly lower than the average, but everything else seems great!</p>
