you are so right, it is kind of warm and toasty today and the only thing I want to do is to refresh the UCLA admissions portal …

No, I didn’t say that I took the class. Kind of lying maybe (forgive me), but I just chose not to report it. Even if they do see it, I’m hoping that it has no bearing on my decision…

aussie, did you take it or did you not take it ???

@theleakers what h4ileyst4r is doing is standard for ap english; sounds like a question from a previous year’s exam perhaps?

ucla is one of my top choices. the other three are penn, georgetown, and yale. of course they’re all reaces; i think they would be for anyone. im in to uc davis and university of michigan, so at least i know im going to college!

it sounds like theyre releasing decisions tomorrow if theyre upgrading the systems tonight…

I physically took the class and was enrolled and went and took the tests and recieved a grade (C+), but when it came time to fill out my UC application, I did not check the boxes that said I had taken a UC summer course. I therefore did not disclose on my UC application that I took the class and got a C+. Sorry for any confusion.

rebecca, are you in state for the UCs ???
the other 3 + UMich are from the east coast …

aussie, you ‘might’ be hosed for this omission …

^Notre Dame and maybe UVA/that other school on figuerora that doesn’t belong on this thread. I think I’m feeling that UCLA is tied #1 with UVA right now…Who knows, I haven’t visited UVA yet. But I visited UCLA and I thought it was pretty awesome!

^btw, thats one of the best lines on CC in a while.

I have a 3.55 UW, 2220 SAT, 800 on Math and Physics subject tests. However, my ECs are awesome and I think they can get me in. I started an online gaming-related business and made 60,000 USD, reached 30k unique views a month, had mysql tables reaching 25 million rows, and peaking at a monthly transfer of 1900gb a month ~ 2 terabytes.

Appling for Comp Engineering I hope i get in

@theleakers

yes, im in state. I live in the SF bay area. i applied to 3 UCs and Stanford. otherwise, the rest of my applications are out of state.

@meteman
I think starting your own (successful) business looks pretty damn good to colleges

@meteman
wow…

Decisions are out i got in!

@ theleakers

You really think so? I don’t think so.

@Haloshots
my heart literally just skipped when I read this
ur joking right…?

@halo : Trolololololol

OT: Super anxious…

@haloshots

csb, unless you got regents/a “psuedo-likely letter”. Otherwise, a professor probably contacted you. But if you got any of the above, you probably wouldn’t really care about going to UCLA.

STOP ■■■■■■■■ LOL

my heart literally stopped when i saw your post

“Written appeals can be submitted online between March 21 and April 15.” from UCLA’s website on appeals. I think this confirms that decisions, at worst, will be out within the next week or so.

also, the UCLA “Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools (CUARS)” has its monthly meeting tomorrow from 1-3 pm. i know i might be reading too much into this, but it seems like evidence is building that d-day is tomorrow
