***UCLA CLASS OF 2019 APPLICANT DISCUSSION THREAD***

Hello all!

This is a discussion thread for the applicants of UCLA class of 2019. Feel free to share feelings, application questions, and just general positive vibes!

If you are an applicant, please join the conversation and list your hopeful major, other schools you applied to, etc…

Let’s get through this together and be supportive :slight_smile:

Is it true that we can send our SAT score report from collegeboard to only one uc instead of wasting money to send our scores to all of the uc’s we are applying to?

That is true. Same with CSUs if you send it to CSUMentor.

Hi! I’m planning to submit my application for UC (LA and Berkeley) in a few days. Which other UCs are you applying to?

Hi guys.Do UC’s have score choice for Subject test?About UC’s beside LA and Berkeley,I have doubt between Irvine or Davis.

I’m applying to 4: LA, Berkeley, San Diego, and Davis

@DreamsCT23‌ The UC website says “In the College Board’s Score Choice module, ensure that all scores are sent to UC. We require all scores and will use the highest scores from a single administration.” I assume that means ALL scores, as it doesn’t specifically say SAT Reasoning.

@Ninopedia Thanks.

4 months will pass by fast enough. Can’t wait to see admissions decisions. I’m applying as a junior.

Last day to turn in applications in tomorrow!

Finished application yesterday, when do we know about decisions?

@DaneBrick‌ Sometime in March

Submitted my application.I hope everyone get in :slight_smile: :)>-

Best of luck to everyone!

May the admission officers look favorably upon us!

Adding on to the score choice for SAT 2s. On my app I listed some pretty bad SAT 2 scores but I went back today and deleted them and instead stated that I was taking them in December. Will that be fine and will they admissions know that I changed it?

@ADLAG16‌ it should be fine since sat 2s are optional so you can choose which scores to send and report. They probably won’t know you changed it if you did it before submitting your app.

@DaneBrick Thanks! The thing is I did change it after submitting my application :frowning: but I heard that the colleges don’t receive the applications until January?

does UCLA have regional admissions officers? i wanted to email mine but i can’t find any info online :-S
