Hmm. Postscript

I’m definitely not shoe-in, either. In fact, I don’t expect to get in. This is just the first big school I am hearing from so I’m anxious but won’t at all be devastated. My stats are 3.87 UW, 2050 SAT, 730 on both the US History and Lit Subject Tests. I applied for the poli sci major. National champion horseback rider/been riding for 10 years so that has taken up most of my time, editor-in-chief of school newspaper, leadership positions in a few other noteworthy clubs. Yeah…

@debbi…I dont think it means rejection or acceptance. I think anyone should be able to do it with their UC application number and those admitted will get actual access. I was just curious to see if I would be denied access. Just get the application number from your common UC app, it should be a 7 digit number

Plus I dont think im getting accepted lol, my stats arent that great for an out of state person(Im from NY).
I have a 2180 SAT 1450/1600 without Writing

I actually prefer Cal’s fixed decision date. Why does UCLA have to torture its applicants?

@ mickjagger
It’s the first screen that comes up when I log in and I couldn’t do anything else til I filled it out.

I dont think it is an indication of acceptance,m but after seeing people discuss it in the thread I decided to try it out.

lol agree with impetuous. Why can’t they just tell us when the decision is coming out. It’s not going to hurt them or anything.

Not telling us the date creates an air of mystery…AKA all the more reason to freak out and not know what to expect haha.

Sorry. Postscript2011- did you sign up initially as a “non of the above”?

I guess I’m toast

i dunno, i can’t help but read into that – i can’t even FIND the option if creating a student email.

but who knows, maybe they’re slowly updating it right now and preparing for the release.
impetuous is right, we just have to wait it out.

let’s not lose hope, debbi. we’re both strong applicants!

Btw, postscript…the horseback riding is impressive! I think you’re probably in. And I applied for a poli sci major too. That and english.

No @Laurennn123 I don’t think I did, I think I said student, but I don’t really remember, maybe that has something to do with it.

https://auth.ucla.edu/index.php

Is anyone able to log onto MyUCLA? I was able to create an account by checking off the “new student” box, but when I try to log in it immediately logs me out.

Thanks naomikt! Maybe I’ll see you in some poli sci classes next year :)

@debbie
I have no doubt in my mind this email thing means nothing, wait until decisions come out :)

I signed up as student as well when i did it Laurenn

@Sphinx, same here. I can create an account, but when I log in it logs me out.
I think that happens to everyone, but I’d be curious to see i it works for postscript…

Guys I did make an account and I can see the enrollment menu, under academic, screenshot. Does this mean I have been accepted?

Edit:Awww

^ Everyone sees that.

no meteman, I can see that too.
But try changing it to fall 2011. then it shouldn’t work. actually someone said it doesn’t work for actual enrolled students, so i don’t think it matters…
