UCLA Class of 2015 Official Results Thread!

Okay! I was able to make an account by clicking “new students, includes admitted applicants.” I used my UC application ID instead of the UID. I have also logged onto URSA, which has academic and financial information! It seems so real… But I am having trouble finding my 9-digit UID.

I would like to know if anyone has checked “new students, includes admitted applicants,” put in their UC application ID, and NOT been able to create an account… This distinction might mean something.

Well done to acceptees! How did you guys find out? I thought the release date was… March 30?

EDIT: so you just go into your accounts and there it is? Wouldn’t you expect an email or something.

mickjagger - Can you access all of the information in URSA, such as enrollmentt?

Or Access My UCLA Planner?

Looks like Rush is in because he can access the enrollment menu. I can’t (yet, I hope!)

I clicked “View Enrollment Menu” and it took me to a page that said stuff like “Please select the year and term you would like to see:” and etc. How about for you guys?

Oh, then I clicked “Fall 2011” and it said that I didn’t have access to this function. Hmm. How about you guys?

All right! I got it.
I toyed around a little bit before I remembered, so here goes.
I’ll start from the beginning so that others who see this for the first time will be able to do it too.

  1. Go to Services | IT Services.
  2. Agree to the terms.
  3. Check "New UCLA Student (Including Admitted Applicants).
  4. I don’t remember the exact details of how the ID is created, they tell you to select an email address and whatnot, if anyone knows the exact steps, let me know and I will update.
  5. After you’re done, log in at Services; using the Login ID and password you just created.
  6. After logging in, you should be able to see a screen like this:-
    Personal Information - Log Out
    UCLA Logon: xxxx
    Name: xxxx xxxx
    UID: xxxxxxxxx
    Birthdate: xx/xx/xxxx
Students: To update your Email Address, please log in to URSA.
Faculty and Staff: To update your Name or Email Address, contact your department directory updater.
All Others: For assistance, contact the Help Desk by telephone at 310-267-HELP (4357) or email at accounts@ucla.edu.
  7. If, for some reason, you are unable to view the link, while creating your ID, you will notice a link on the right hand side of the screen, “Manage UCLA Logon ID” which is right under “Create UCLA Logon ID”.
  8. You now have your 9 digit ID.

There we go, it’s as simple as I could make it. Let me know if there are any problems.
Also, let us all know if you can see the ID and whether or not it works for you.

Well it seems like everyone can go through the “validate your identity” part. so maybe getting your ID doesn’t necessarily mean an acceptance.

Services;

Thanks Rush13493. I now have my 9-digit UID. :):):):):):):):)
(That was 9 smilies. Sorry I’m just excited.)

I hope this says something about whether or not I’m in.

@mickjagger

chill. dude you received a likely letter. you’re in.

^lol, agreed. Congrats mickjagger :)

Alright Rush13493!!! I saw mine too. Umm, would anyone out there be so kind as to let us know if you tried it and were not able to see nine digit uid number?
Good Luck all!

Hopefully we’ll find out Friday

Using Rush’s method, I now have my 9 digit logon ID also. Thanks, Rush. But can anyone other than Rush access the enrollment info or other tabs in URSA? That seems to me to be what is significant.

^ I can’t access the majority of the links under Academics- including registration status. I don’t think being able to view enrollment window is super great (although right now any little things help w/ hopes) b/c I can click on view enrollment window and am asked to select year/term but when i click submit it gives the usual “you do not have access…”

hey guys. first post i think, but i’ve been following this site for a while.

So, I am able to add classes for the summer quarter through the enrollment menu. however, I cannot view classes for the fall quarter. can anyone else add classes for the summer?

Guys don’t give too much meaning to these things…

The results come out in less than a week and it would suck to get rejected if you thought all along that you were in.

looks like the same thing is happening for all of us. I was able to make an account/log into URSA/get my UID/etc. Can’t view enrollment on URSA. It doesn’t look like any of this is confirming our acceptance or rejection. I suppose we will have to wait until Friday (i hope?)

So far, has there been anyone who could not get their logon ID (when clicking new/admitted students) or who has not been able to get their 9-digit UID?

Oh Boy :frowning: :)

I was able to access summer classes too. on the ucla website somewhere it says "February 1. Summer registration begins for UCLA students.

March 1. Summer registration begins for visiting students." Okay, I didn’t click “continue” though after selecting year/ summer so in answer to the ?, yeah, I was able to access that term. (on the side, have any of you guys been invited for regents scholarship, just kinda curious)
