^Or more. I wish I could block myself from this site until at least March 15th, but I don’t know what I would do with myself, haha. This thread should’ve been reserved for when the results actually come out. :X Now people who want to see the decisions will have to dig through 10 pages first.

^i feel the exact same way
UCLA rocks, its definitely one of my top 3 choices!!

If the news does come out on Friday, I know my year, we were able to find out the results 1-2 days ahead by seeing if we were able to make an account on my.ucla.edu. It may not work, but some people may want to give that a try. If it let’s you, it should have your name, Admitted, and your major in the upper right hand corner.

@Sugahstarral, I was able to make an account on my.ucla.edu and it shows my 9-digit UID. Does that mean I’m admitted? Oh my God, I’m so nervous…

When I try to sign into my.ucla.edu, it logs in, says it’s redirecting me for 10 seconds and then logs me out.
I did, however, manage to find my 9 digit UID at the URSA website. If more people try this out, please post your results up here.

@Rush13493, that’s the same exact problem I have!! But on the other hand, I was also able to figure out my UID, which is supposed to be only for UCLA students, as well as newly admitted ones, so I’m confused if I should take that as a good sign or a bad one? T.T

@Junebin21 Well, I don’t want to get anyones hopes up, but i would take being able to log on as a good sign because in my year, if you weren’t admitted, it wouldn’t let you create an account.

@Rush13493 Once again, I think having a UID should be a good thing but I don’t know why you wouldn’t have been able to log in to My UCLA. Did you get to this page in order to make a log in? Services;

If so, you should have checked that you were a new student rather than marking that you don’t have a UID yet. Then go from there and type in your application number.

Same thing happened to me. I created the account easily, but when I try to log onto myUCLA I am immediately logged out.

Same here.

So, is anyone able to create an account and login successfully?

Also, is there anyone who can’t even create an account at all?

From Ms Sun’s blog:

UCLA - all decisions come out right before mid-March

So it looks like it’s the 15th at LATEST. The phrasing makes it sound like it would either be the 13th or the 14th though…

Yes, I did get onto that page, and I selected “New students, includes admitted applicants”.
I typed in my UID after that too, to create the ID. Maybe others applying this year can try and let us know what happens.

Rush - Where did you find your nine digit UCLA login ID on the URSA site?

I got as far as the place where they ask you to type in your last name, first name, DOB, and email. After that I was taken to a page where they asked me to make up a username. I didn’t go further than that because I don’t want to decide my “UCLA identifier for life” yet… But anyway, I got that far… what does that mean?

I received a likely letter BTW.

^^I did all of that and proceeded to make an URSA account a few days ago. I can log into the URSA account but don’t see where it has a 9 digit UCLA number and cannot access some of the functions in the URSA account. The same login ID used for URSA, which I made up, works for logging in to my.ucla.edu but then I get kicked off as others have reported.

I did the exact same thing as mickjagger

but it seems like everyone can do that hm… I didn’t receive a likely letter btw. didn’t apply for engineering.

How did you guys get your 9-digit numbers? When I checked “new students, includes admitted applicants” they ASKED for my 9-digit number. So I checked that I didn’t have my UID and created an account. I created my account and I don’t know how to find the UID.

@mickjagger

you can use your uc application id instead

Looks like Junebin and Rush are the only ones who have posted that they found their 9 digit ID so if either of them coule tell us where that would be great. Thanks!

I clearly remember seeing my 9 digit UID. In fact, I remember counting the digits to make sure there were 9. I’m trying to remember where I saw it. I’m sure it was either on URSA or during the registration process. Still working on it, I’ll let you guys know when I find out.
Also, just 15 minutes ago, when I logged into URSA, I was unable to access the “View Enrollment Menu”, but when I logged in again just 5 minutes ago, I could access it. So it is possible that I accessed some other link that I am now unable to see. Anyway, I’ll keep trying and let you know.
