Okay, we get it… The portal is down :)) Every time I see a notification I have a bit of hope in me that decisions were accidentally posted early HAHA Ya’ll are scaring me xD
Does UC consider freshmen grade?
@savagenumber1 Nope, only 10th and 11th.
I heard if you chant “Portal up” 3 times in a dark bathroom the ucla mascot will pop up behind you with your decision
Decision day for >120K applicants yay
@transmitter2342 thanks! Can somone post app status website for me please?
admission.ucla.edu
when it comes up again, you will need your UC application number, birthday, city of birth to log in
@savagenumber1 if you applied you would’ve gotten an email. Stop being so unnecessarily needy
Damn when they changed “my application status” to “my application decisions” Omg it’s getting real
UCLA Admissions posted on Twitter that they would announce when the decisions are up on twitter and on FB. Just thought I would share to save people from refreshing their portal. Now you can just keep refreshing twitter/FB. Good luck to all!
Anyone know what the ‘Nonresident Aliens’ in UCLA’s data set refers to?
International students?
Just a thought. Y’all are a part of the biggest applicant pool in college history. Be patient. All of you are amazing. Now it’s only about what the college wants. You’ll all succeed in life, if you want to, with or without UCLA(or any other college for that matter). That being said, BEST OF LUCK! (:
@savagenumber1 UC GPA is calculated on sophomore and junior year grades using the four point scale. Minuses and pluses are not factored. Up to four semesters of honors/AP can boost your GPA using the five point scale but are capped at four semesters worth. https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
@Darkinstar It’s mentioned under ethnicity
“The Admission Decision site is currently unavailable. We expect to be back up later this evening.” I bet it will be 5 pm!
Im so excited, I waited for this the whole year!! If I get rejected, I will be so upset… I worked really hard to get in UCLA. Its my dream school
and the rest of us have just been slacking for the past four years
@helloucla844 Don’t be too down on yourself if you don’t get in. They have to reject a large amount of people and college admissions are a crapshoot.
Goodluck to everyone! Just remember, admissions decisions, especially with a school like UCLA, do not reflect your worth. The process can be really random/unfair and that has nothing to do with you. Take a few deeps breaths and remember that life goes on.
