Damn you CC freaks! Now you all have me going nuts waiting for my girlfriend's admit decision!

I was done with this crap three years ago, now I'm worrying all over again!

At least she got into UCSD so far...

go to the other thread for UC applicants and read what the UCLA advisor wrote......makes a lot of sense and should settle some spirits...lol. They said "late in the day" tomorrow.....they will "begin" it....

That's not the bloody point! I shouldn't have to go through this affair a second damn time! :p

Point taken. lol

Anyway, for the rest of you, has anyone given any thought to jobs? on-campus, off-campus (remember the commuting nightmare? lol). Any thoughts....or is everyone fortunate enough to not have to work, if so, will you be pursuing internships, etc....

Frankly, I haven't worked in 2 years now, too busy with school and such. I did tutoring at my school for the English department, but no, that was only 10 hours a week. Certainly nothing I did for income....
I was curious....anway, good luck to you all once more....

I HIGHLY recommend an on-campus job, and in particular one with On-Campus Housing like front desk or access control.

Why? First off, they're flexible, low-stress jobs. Secondly, they're close. Third, they offer above average pay for part-time in Westwood. Fourth, $6 a day on-campus housing during summer. Woot!

Oh, and because I was an access control supervisor. That's reason enough!

Yeah, I'll need a job... IF I get in, I was thinking about transferring up to the Blockbuster in Westwood (I currently work for Blockbuster, ugh), but I'd much rather work on campus... it just seems like they would be much more flexible and understanding with your school schedule and commitments. And I would love to get an internship, or be able to get in a research project.... oh, I can't wait anymore. I want to know now!

Torifan which Blockbuster do you currently work at? Maybe I've seen you working since I'm always renting movies. I usually go to the one on Oceanpark or Michigan.

live in santa monica nikkei?

Well, looked at the other thread...and as luck would have it, I probably won't find out anything until the....dreaded mid-Mayish estimation.

I am getting to hate looking at that silly letter asking me to return in "late April". lol

porcupyne, actually I live in Venice. I take Lincoln to get to SMC (Santa Monica College). Where do you go?

I'm so nervous!!!!!! The site should open up in about 45 minutes.. wouldn't it be a nice surprise if they posted some decisions this morning instead of "late in the afternoon"??? Yea right. I have a big feeling that I'm not going to get a decision today... but I hope I do. I'm sure I'll be PENDING forever.

Tiffiemarie14

i know i am so nervous too, and i don't think i will get an answer at all :(

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!! the moment of truth is near. all your hard work will be paid off soon.

good luck everyone!!

i know 8 more minutes.

good luck

i dont understand why they say late afternoon.. so they don't update during 8pm-8am?

i honestly don't know what are they thinking and what are they doing. i really don't understand their system and how it works

2 minutess.. eek

My guess is that in 2 minutes, we're all still pending... Hopefully I'm wrong.

I just wanted to give you guys a bit of advice here: Calm down.

Believe it or not, my online acceptance wasn't posted until after I received the packet. You might just have to wait...
