yea i thought i would have been able to get three classes, but it turns out cs 33 is 5 units and physics 1b is also 5 units, so I can't fit in three for 10 units :(

I want to take CS 101 this quarter, but I have schedule conflicts for either the seminar or discussion.

So, can I go through this class with just going to either seminar or discussion? If so, which one should I go to?
And this class a final exam? What's on it?

Has anyone taken the new nanotech TBA? I'm deciding between nanotech & technology management for this next quarter... it's a tough decision since I like the idea of both.

Prof. Terzopolous is one of the better CS professors. His midterm exam was all multiple-choice and very reasonable. Unfortunately he usually arrives late to lecture and his TA has to partially cover for him.

k i ended up changing up my schedule a lot.

flopsy: have you ever had eggert? how was the experience? should all CS/CSE students take the opportunity of having the eggert experience? thanks.

flopsy do cs/cse students typically follow the schedule given to them by the engineering school? and if they dont which classes are the ones that are usually swapped/moved around?

^ just take whatever you feel like...as long as you finish the classes that are pre-reqs for most classes, it doesn't matter when you take them. i'd guess that you just need to get math and CS out of the way (i don't imagine you'll need much chemistry or physics...), and then you can take whatever else whenever you need to/feel like it.

take a look at the course catalog, look through the first few upper-divs you'll be taking and what their pre-reqs are, and make sure you take those first.
