3.82… got one B for calc II lolll
Just curious, I thought you already had taken AP Calculus BC with score 4, then how come you still took Calculus II in the college? Doesn’t AP Calculus BC is equivalent of Calculus I & II ?
Yeah but for econ major, UCLA only accepts calc BC wt score 5 to be transferable for math 152F
Oh I see. Hopefully, with just one B will not affect that much in the admission. Wish you all the best and luck!
thx bud! best luck for us

Yesss me too with Poli Sci. It lowkey made all those AP classes from high school worth it haha saved me a year of CC.
hey ya’ll! Is it impossible to get into LA with a 3.7 gpa): I feel so discouraged but I had a huge upward trend in grades so I’m extremely anxious for decisions
Here’s my full intro:
Overall GPA: 3.88
Major GPA: 4.00
Current school: UC Santa Barbara, but I have also taken classes at my local community college
Intended major: Math/Econ (It’s a single major)
ECs: Not too much from UCSB yet, but I have an accounting job and I have some sales experience. I also included some high school ECs because those are far stronger.
Essays: 9/10. I had a current UCLA student read them and she liked them. I provided specific examples for my leadership capabilities.
Strengths: I will have completed both the recommended and required courses for my major, including the C++ course which I had to take at my community college, which I also got an A in. I am also at around the average GPA for admits from UCSB and for my major.
Weaknesses: I got a B+ in a writing class at UCSB :(. I’m also a one-year transfer applicant with a ton of APs, and although I’m pretty sure my 5 in Calc BC will count toward my major, I’m not totally sure. If it’s not, I will get rejected. Also, my lack of ECs from UCSB worries me.
What is your major? You can look up admit info for all majors at all campuses via the link above.
omg thank you! I just checked I’m a Sociology major so that’s in the 25th percentile for me
Same here

I was initially confident about my chances of getting into UCLA. But as we get closer to the date of decisions, I can’t help but be nervous.
Let’s hope the decisions come out this Friday
your application is impressive, good luck!
I also applied from a csu!
very impressive, fingers crossed for you!
Thank you! Just saw your post too, and wow. Your stats are incredible. Fingers crossed for both of us!
Yours too! I might see you around if we both get admitted. Especially since my alternate is philosophy
Oh wow really?! Good luck to the both of us! what is your intended major?
I had such a difficult trying to make sure I took classes that matched with the UCs prereqs since Asssist does work for CSUs to UCs but I hope I did enough.
Anyone hear from regents today? Otherwise we can rule out next Wednesday
