UCLA Fall 2021 Transfers

every school looks at different things! don’t feel discouraged!

I was waitlisted at UCSB for psych lol
I am just waiting on UCLA and UCSD at this point :sob:
so far i only have UCR

UCSB doesn’t read the essays, but UCLA does. So you were likely rejected based solely on academics. UCLA’s holistic approach could be to your advantage!

I wish they specified that they don’t look at alternate majors on the application. That would’ve helped

if you guys think the withdraw button being gone means something tho, do u think it could just mean ur own application is done being reviewed? or is it gone indefinitely?

I think it means they’re done reviewing all apps. and are just playing us at this point.

I applied as a freshmen last year and the withdraw button disappeared the day decisions came out. Not saying it will for sure come out today but if it’s not today it’s most likely gonna be Friday

apparently the alumni scholarship reading date changed to 5/2 though so idk if that’s indicative of anything (Alumni Scholarship Volunteer Reader Registration - UCLA Alumni) the description still says 4/17-18, but the actual event date is now 5/2

Someone posted this on April 22 2020, and then their decisions came out on April 24.

" However, I did notice that they have stopped allowing withdrawals on my application. I saw that someone on the [UCSD] thread mentioned that this would only happen on the day the decision would be released. I’m not sure if that holds true for LA, but I thought I would put it out there."
