UCLA Financial Aid - Difference between On-campus and Off-campus

Question regarding financial aid. I originally applied as "on-campus" on my FAFSA but after reading the threads here on CC, it seems like living off campus will be a better option. What will the adjustment be to my financial aid amount if I decide to live off campus instead?

Also, will there be a further reduction for my "off-campus" amount if I choose to live outside of UCLA's apartments, say in a room in someone's house?

same questions… any advices?

I too have the same question. Someone please answer!!

They reduce your FA.

sigh… do you know how many % will they reduced?

for example… let’s say…
$7700 from cal grant
$4000 from UCLA

any ideas>

^
Sorry, can’t help you there. I just know that they will reduce it. -.-;;

they told me that mine will reduce by 2,000. I have $7,700 in gift aid now, it would go down to $5,700.
