UCLA Housing June 3rd Clarification

I just saw the online tour for De Neve, the lobbies are looking really really gooood. Makes me wish I picked private bathrooms hahahaha

@shawna - Oh my gosh, I know hahaha. If I get 14P, don’t finish it, and trade in my monays for random overpriced crap, I’ll be damned!

…But I don’t get the eating 1 time per meal period? 14P lets you go in to the dining halls whenever you wish or what?

I think if we don’t get the premier ones we get a certain allotment of swipes in a week which don’t get carried over unlike premier. Which is kind of why I want 14P, I really don’t have a set eating schedule hahahah.

that swipe is priceless tho

Yeah, I’m confused what it means when it says “This plan allows only one entry per each designated meal period” (for the gold plan). Does that mean for the Premier ones, we get infinite entries per each designated meal period? Or what?

Lol @ infinite swipes!

ATTN: World. Get what you’d like, it’s on me ;)

Well, my plan was to like, stand by the door, charge people $2 to swipe on me, and then USE THE MONEY TO MAKE UP THE 14.5K I’M SPENDING ON HOUSING.

Good call. Yeah, 14.5K for me, too. D’oh!

rieber terrace!!

I’m eating out of one of those big ass ice cream tubs to make up for my feeling of depression over housing’s price tag.

I need to decide 14P vs 14. $350+ or $350-? Sigh.

hhahhaa…

The 14 vs 14p is w/ the 14 you can only swipe 1 time per meal period… like 1 time between 11 - 5 etc etc I don’t know the exact time frames…

the premier meal plans allow you to visit the Residential Restaurants more than once per meal period or use your plan for a guest meal. Students must monitor their meal usage throughout the quarter to ensure that they have enough meals to last through to the end of the quarter.

I can’t find the time frames for the meal periods?

Wow I just checked my housing and completely got something I didn’t pick :frowning: I ended up getting a single studio at Margan apartments :frowning: i wanted to be social while at UCLA but I guess those plans our put the window haha

@shawna - Five… That’s… actually not so bad!

Does anybody know anything about the margan apartments? Is a single studio a good thing or am I socially doomed? I really wanted the doorms.
