I got a triple in Rieber Terrace, soo i am not going to UCLA at all now.

IF anyone has a single they dont want, and would be willing to trade for let me know. i highly doubt this occurs

Chill out. There are ways you can get a new offer--you have to haggle with the office. Also, why not live off campus?

Nobody got doubles guys so settle for either a single or a triple. In fact I hear they may be converting even more doubles to triple to accomodate for the housing guarantee.

Anyone with a triple in Vista or Terrace want to make a trade?

Spicy, what do u have?

g1a2b3, b/c i am poor thats why i living off campus is going to be very hard.

Are you forgetting that you get fin aid for living off campus as well? I'm sure you can figure something out...

Did anyone apply for the University Apartments? Did you get it?

they give you 708 for rent in off campus housing. 708 buys you nothing near UCLA.

I'm sure you could get a room, not a studio.

that would be a severe waste of money.

lots of people applied for university apartments...noone got it

sigh Thanks for the reply, Citan

I just emailed the Housing ppl regarding private/shared bath, and got this prompt reply:

"Thank you for using Ask Housing.

According to our records your offer reflect a SV Triple; the room has a
bathroom within the room which is not with another room."

...that means I'm getting a private bath???

uh...I guess....mine says Shared bathroom so Im assuming you have private bathroom...not sure

that has to be the most confusing reply ever!

i guess it means you share the bathroom with only the poeple in your room.

lol yea that's true...the ask housing people are morons I guess they employ international students who still haven't grasped english that well...every time I send them an email they send me some cut and paste ********

According to our records your offer reflect a SV Triple; the room has a

I think they are saying the triple would get their own shared bathroom between the 3 people and no one outside of the 3 would be able to use it.

moss: but look at this picture...of a double

also I got co-op housing today....should I dump oncampus and choose this?

What planet are you from? You must mean that all housing is a waste of money...because how would renting a room near UCLA be a waste of money when renting a studio is not?

Another thing. Why are the deposits due even before we get our eFan (fin aid notifcation)? What if we were depending on that money to pay the deposit? I don't have enough to pay for the 2nd installment, I barely had enough to pay for the 1st. This system is full of flaws. Does anyone know when we get our eFans?

whats that co-op housing thing your talking about citan?

Jebus323: http://www.geocities.com/uchaonline/ucha_home.htm I was accepted today...housing + 19 meals/week for around $1400 a quarter
