I live in Georgia, and have nooo idea where to go. I got into Tulane honors with a pretty good scholarship and loved itt there. But I also loved UCLA and think it's in a great location. Any help would be great!

Anyone??

These kinds of questions are impossible to answer directly because we have no idea what kinds of personal preferences you have. Do you care that UCLA is much larger than Tulane? That you will have more very large lecture classes at UCLA than at Tulane, where you might not have any? Do you care that the sports teams at UCLA are better? That Los Angelas is a very large city and New Orleans a smaller, much quirkier one?

As an undergraduate, you would get a good education at both. I am assuming the costs are similar or that money just isn’t a factor, but certainly if one requires a lot more loans than the other that should make a big difference. Do you know what you are thinking of majoring in? Are your plans at this point to go to grad school or med/law school? These are useful things to know.

I’d pick Tulane if it’s a lot cheaper than UCLA. If not you should really select for fit. Coming from the South, UCLA will be very different from what you’re used to, and from Tulane. Only you’ll be able to decide which is better for you.
