Hi guys,
So I was accepted into my two top choice schools UCLA and UC Berkeley and I was wondering which one I should go to.
I know the social environment at UCLA is better for me than that of UC Berkeley, but for my major, UC Berkeley is quite prestigious. Basically I’m wondering whether it would be worth it to take prestige over a better college experience. I got in the College of Letters and Sciences for both schools if anyone is wondering, and my major is Applied Math for UC Berkeley and Pre-Math/Econ for UCLA. I’m 100% fine with both majors so that’s not really the issue here. I know I won’t be downright miserable at UC Berkeley but I know for a fact that LA would be more fun, and yet UC Berkeley is close to home and such a great school. Any thoughts, especially from people who go to these schools?
