UCLA Pre Med Non Science Major

Hi, I am currently a high school student hoping to go to UCLA as a pre med.
However, I really want to major in Philosophy,
Would I be able to do all the gen eds and pre med requirements and philosophy major requirements and graduate by time?
And would I have time to take fun courses like film studies and stuff? Not only do I want to take fun classes but also I would like to get a broad liberal arts education.
If I do major in Philosophy, would i have to take four classes every quarter? Because I do my best work when I am focused on the least amount of subjects, so I would like to take three classes a quarter as much as possible.
Also, is majoring in Physiological Science THAT hard because that is where all the pre meds are at?

Nobody?

Here is a link to the Health Sciences Career Center for UCLA and explains what pre-req’s are required. I suggest your work closely with your Freshman advisor to maximize overlapping GE’s and required major courses with the Pre-med course requirements. I am sure it is possible to graduate on time, but you might have to consider doing some summer sessions especially for the “fun” courses. Majority of full time students take 4 courses/quarter which is anywhere from 13-16 units especially if you want graduate in 4 years.

probably not going to happen. You can see the progress requirements at http://www.ugeducation.ucla.edu/counseling/handouts/ECP.pdf
