Can anyone give me specifics in regards to the rigor of UCLA in terms of premed classes such as intro bio, intro chem, etc. and other upper-division courses? I am looking to apply as an incoming freshman and I would like to know how the curves are, how many opportunities one can get (such as research or shadowing a doctor), and just how the atmosphere of the campus is. Also, this is all pertaining to a regular bio major, not molecular bio or biochemistry. Thanks!
